So here it is, Stuart Semple’s response to Pantone’s Colour Of The Year 2024.
Every year, the PANTONE corporation declares the colour of the year. This year they've decided it's Peach Fuzz. Manufacturers, fashion designers, homeware makers, textile artists and retailers jump to join the trend. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
IT’S TIME BIG-COLOUR LEARNED THEY CAN’T CONTROL OUR COLOUR CHOICES!
Last year Stuart shared Viva Meh-Genta his version of Pantone's Colour Of The Year 2023 with everyone and now he's done it again.
Let us introduce Cheap Buzz.
‘Cheap Buzz’ is Stuart's version of Pantone's 2024 colour, Peach Fuzz.
When asked why he was doing this he replied: ‘Cheap Buzz is exactly what Pantone’s Colour Of The Year is all about. It's nonsense they pick the colour and creators of all kinds toe the line. Surely, it's time we asked the question of who gave them the power to decide.’
Mix Cheap Buzz with water to make a watercolour, linseed oil to make an oil paint, or Stuart Semple’s Superbaseto make a super-matte acrylic.
NOTE: by adding Cheap Buzz to your cart you confirm that you are not an employee of PANTONE, are in no way affiliated with PANTONE and to the best of your knowledge information and belief this colour will not make its way into the hands of PANTONE or it’s associates.
